Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Lots of rumours about loving the charlie and his commitment to the game not being right.

You could say maybe bringing him here, with Coleman, an experienced manager like Moyes (Brighton’s manager is like 15), and being closer to his family for them to visit more often might sort him out.

Or he comes here and ends up in Popworld and we have to fire him.
Cocaine would be picked up in the battery of blood tests that would carried out , as well as if we've heard it then presumably so would the club

You think footballers don't get up to mischief like cocaine?

These guys are insured for millions & millions of pounds

Any positive drug tests for players will get banned but buried as a 3 month- 6 month injury

The club are well aware of his issues and have been trying to help him he just doesn't seem massively responsive to the help, this isn't a new thing its been going on a while. Add in the fact he seems a bit injury prone, his career is not getting off to the best start. His manager even mentioned him not being physically or mentally fit atm. Brighton is a very enticing place for the younger ones and he seems to have fallen foul of certain temptations on offer, sometimes these things just happen sadly.

tbh Liverpool is also not the place for the lad if he likes a bit of beak and a party.

I would assume that’s the ‘mentally fit’ aspect of their managers comment.

Thelwell's hiding in the bushes, knocking one out.

Ideally, I think looking to try and get Brobbery in on loan makes the most sense. It’s not perfect but there is potential for an upside to that signing. He could just be in a bit of a slump at the moment and previous seasons numbers are good.

Hopefully we can swap Broja for Dewsbury-Hall. It’s not like for like with Mangala but does replace an injured midfielder and maybe we just tweak that midfield set up slightly. Garner coming back will help too.

That maybe leaves us with some money to play around with to still improve with a winger.

None of the above might be possible though so there is that too. I’m just a man writing on a football forum while at work, hoping for a better Everton.

Good lyrics for an emotional soft rock ballad.
