Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

His class is permanent. Defence is solid and with O'Brien now playing and Young on the bench with Seamus to come back can offload the deadwood of Keane and the other gimp.

Got to go for long term quality.
Assuming that’s who I think you mean, I thought you liked the lad as you have said multiple times? Or is that just a lie?

As even if you don’t think he is very good, strange to be calling him a gimp. Don’t you think?

Replacing Doucoure with a proper no 10 would be a good start. As we cannot take another domestic loan unless Broja or Harrison go back, we need some creativity by our recruitment team and a willing counterpart.

Hopefully Chelsea will play ball with Broja to free up a space if we take one of theirs in return.

This obviously makes any other loans players from outside of the U.K.

If those rumours have any foundation then they need to stay right away from him. Car crash waiting to happen.
The disappointing thing is that he was held in such high regard by people only a short while ago and had such potential. But wouldn`t be the first young lad to waste a great talent and likely won`t be the last.

It's absolutely imperative to make a couple of signings this week. They have to be in and ready for selection for Leicester and ready to hit the ground running

We've got 3 home games coming up against Leicester, Bournemouth in the cup and the rs. We're now pretty much 1 injury away from Jack Harrison being back in the line up and 1 injury away from having to put an u21 kid up front.

26 days have passed and this week is vitally important that we give the players and the manager a massive boost and say "here you go lads, your doing great and here's some more players to really help push you on". It's a great opportunity Saturday to get a positive result, move away from the bottom of the league and get confidence fully ramped up for the FA Cup and rs game

Failure to do so is gross negligence.

an injury away from jack harrison 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Lots of speculation and pissy pants in here this morning I see.

As if they aren’t going to bring players in, especially after those two new injuries at the weekend.

I’d like to believe you but we have a perfect storm - January always a quiet window, we still have financial constraints, Thelwell fills me with no confidence.

I think the best we can hope for is signing free agent Willian on a short term deal.
