Knowing Moyes he'd rather put the majority into one signing that he felt could make a real difference to how we play and for the long term, wouldn't surprise me at all to see us spending 25m plus on one player in January.

My Dream scenario, pay what city wants to get the Salford Silva , pay off Chelsea or Leeds to take back either or both loans, use that loan spot to bring in Ferguson, if enough remains buy fellows from West Brom. Would love us to be able to afford Diarra as well but don't see how we possibly can unless they'd agree to loan with the obligation to buy

….the problem is that any players lined-up were probably binned as soon as Moyes saw the ‘Gnonto list’.

As far as that is concerned, the timing couldn’t have been worst but I’d much prefer this given how poor our recruitment has been. 6 out of 9 points suggests we’ve done ok regardless of incomings but obviously the need to bolster the squad is greater after the Brighton game.

I’d much prefer a couple of effective signings now than more mediocracy 3 weeks ago.

O'Brien and Ndiaye have been dreadful under Moyes havent they?
