How poor is Premier League scouting at some of these clubs that no one would have a punt on Igamane 6 months ago for a couple of a million but after 6 months in the SPL they're willing to pay 10x+ that for him.

You want to be finding these players before they signed by anyone in the UK and their value is instantly 10x what it was the day before they signed basically.

At the 2.5 million bracket you only need to hit on 1 out of 5 or 6 and you're getting value for money, he almost has to be a hit at 25m.

I’m scared any new striker will be overpriced table scraps at this stage but we don’t have a choice.

From now on I am absolutely petrified of the thought of us signing further players that scored double figures in Serie A in past seasons. It's just too risky, much rather sign somebody from the Championship tbh. Moyes also has very good form for bring in and nurturing Championship talent.
