Sometimes stats are deceptive , ferguson from the eye test is a solid player when fit , also can play more of a target man role unlike beto

I'd not class him as injury prone, one bad ankle injury and a minor one.

Bit like calling Barkley it at 20 cos he'd broken a leg and missed a year, majority of players his age are still in the academy and you'd not even have noticed hed had it by the time he broke through.

Be way more worried if it was hammy or thigh etc

Its a recurring ankle ligament injury that is still unresolved and was originally mistreated. That to me would be a massive red flag. Its a call I would not trust our medical team specifically on with 40 million on the line and our last big swing at a striker for potentially years.

The only other central striker they have is an aging Welbeck that's why they want it to be able to pick him, another who is in/out due to fitness issues.

Is that in the premier league or including cups ?? As Beto has played against a lot of lower league teams. Let’s have it right Beto is [Poor language removed] and once he has to play a number of 90 mins his goal per minutes will drop like a stone. Ferguson at 18 looked a Hell of a talent
