I just hope there's a massive sell-on clause. Even crap players go for £10-15m nowadays on the back of half a decent season in the Championship. Low fee, huge sell-on fee, hopefully.

Deffo. While I'm satisfied the club is making a shrewd move for Alcaraz, other positions are much more important and they've had all month to fill them. I'm sure they're working on deals though, especially since this one was done with nothing at all leaked.

We'd probably be fine tbh - two more wins needed imo after that (I'd said Moyes needs at least 5 wins prior to the Villa game) - , but it's a risk and on the board's head be it if we ended up relegated and they lose hundreds of millions as a result.

….good luck to Stan Mills, I always thought there was potential for him to be a converted full-back with us but it was never to be. He’ll have a decent career in the game.
