Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

I've definitely seen links to Chris Wood and Anthony Elanga dismissed on this site, particularly in threads like this. Not good enough at vaulting to even begin to find the evidence, but it's definitely occurred.
Callum Hudsen Odoi was getable after the Leverkusen loan. A very capable player. There’s plenty of them out there and we’re def in the market. Let hope for some positive news.

It doesn't look that difficult when it all comes together though does it. No telling if either of those would have been as successful here (I wasn't dismissive of them though).

A year or so ago, Forest were getting blasted for amount of players they were buying and their scattergun approach. Now, all of a sudden they have a good balance, square pegs in square holes, who fit a counter attacking system. Really good defenders who love defending, solid workmanlike midfield, wingers with pace and a striker hitting a purple patch.

Shows it can be done though.

Noticed villa have signed
Malen but haven't seen confirmation of philogene moving yet. Any danger of that getting reignited after tomorrow's match?

They are saying on the Ipswich forum, that a Villa ITK (I don’t know who or if they are reliable) is saying there is a sell on clause included and are arguing over it being 20% or 10%.

I can see why we wouldn’t agree to 20 mill + now and a sell on clause.

….hopefully not. We’ve got Moyes in now, I’d hope his reaction to our list of targets is;

Going to keep a close eye on the dynamic between Moyes and Thelwell, this window,

Have a feeling the whole window has been rebooted by Moyes and he will hold the ultimate influence, seems all has gone quiet since he has come in.

If that comes to pass think it’s the last we will see of Thelwell.

Be interesting.
Same...Got a feeling Moyes will be driving it.
