Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

The HUGELY frustrating thing is that Moyes teams almost ALWAYS dominated the second half of the season. We were generally tosh the first 1/3 or so but about this time they usually were top 4 contenders. And, every January, us supporters were screaming for just ONE class player to get us over that hump.

"I had my mum call the banks and PLEAD with them to not have to sell Mikel, he's FAMILY!"
Yep, we never had enough players. We always seemed to go through periods of poor form when we had key players missing because our squad was waifer thin.

Do wonder that with Moyes now in charge if we may turn our attentions to the previously linked Tom Fellows rather than Nuamah. Would definitely make sense considering Moyes’ past success with Championship players and he plays the same position as Jarrod Bowen who he developed into a top player at WHU.
Dyche being linked to West Brom. Might come in for his buddy Keane and sell us Fellows as we won’t defend enough .. I wish !

Was thinking something like this morning, imagine the difference someone like Kevin Mirallas would make to this side right now!

Random 3 mill deal from Greece.

Classic Moyes.
He was fantastic on his day, don't know if I ever forgave him fully for that penalty incident against Bolton. Cost me a good penny from the bookies.

His feet was much more than 3 million, 6 million rising to 8m if memory serves me right.

West Brom it was (the game where he took the pen and missed). Think it was around 5.5m we spent, quality player on his day and he had plenty of great days for us.

Always loved that goal he scored against Stoke at home.

He had periods when he was a very high level player, had a bit of snide about him and was a very composed finisher. Feel like he could have done more with his talent.
