Can somebody please explain why Everton pay £17m for Mykolenko and £28m for Beto, while Bournemouth can get Kerkez for £15m and Kluivert for £8m.

We did go after Kluivert mate but he knocked us back saying that at 48 now he is too old even for Everton

These players don’t want to come here. We need some stability to look a prospect again.

I'll say it again...it is the work mostly of the dof to convince the best prospects in football to join us. Thelwell has failed miserably in doing so independently of the money situation...yet still directing our recruitment. With him, money or not, we'll most likely failed as we will have to continously settle for second, third or even fourth options.

Hopefully will be the end and we will start doing that, great chance this summer to change and get us going. With so many of the old guard of wel crap on way out. Is what we need get a hungry fired up younger team with pace and skill. I am still positive can do it this window even tho short cash can still show what direction the club wants to go

Now that Alli has signed for Como I half expect us to put in a bid of £24m for him.
