Yeah the article basically says that they will only take Broja back if we take one off their hands. Which isn't really a problem at all as both are very decent players.

Take Carney and the centre mids sorted for this year and an option means a lot less stress next summer trying to rebuild our cm.

15m then, that was Chelsea’s January fee for Barkley. It’s a balance in my opinion. A confident DCL bouncing off the walls and playing with verve ( and within the 18 yard box because he gets support so he’s not messing about in the wide areas) could have us safe in 5 games. Maybe we go on a run and he decides to stay? Not impossible.

Any signing is a risk, and say it gives us 50m to play with, who do we sign to slot in and, erm, slot them in from the get-go Jelavic / Kevin Campbell (RIP) style? Could buy a couple of players, but then that could be a big outlay for sticking plaster signings who may not fit the longer term vision, or even be effective short term.

Dunno why you would fear something like that happening. It would be a best case scenario right now in the circumstances

But I don't think they're desperate for a striker that has a worse conversation rate than Havertz. And not for over £20 million bones on a multi-year contract for £100k a week.

Tough one that, Hall has way more experience but Chucky reminds me of Onana who Moyes was desperate for West ham to sign.

Btw if you actually look at what Moyes says pretty sure he wants two attackers and a central mid. Wonder if he wants that loan spot for a striker though....

I think would be after kdh just becuase would want a player to come right into the side, still at a good age of 26 and if with an option would bring experience for next season in the center. Agree with you on chuk does have the talent and would be a long term move with potential to be better than kdh. Both of high money 80 for kdh, 100 for chuk so both deals i would question if we got them here full time. Kdh could swap for keane but still would wonder if the club would want to do this

People have been waiting for Arsenal to come in for DCL for 5 years. Let it go.

Wouldn't object to either option, let's hope we land one of them.

Would be nice, we need 2 all-round options for the attack. McNeil very probably will be out for a lot of games, and we are one more injury away to even play Doucoure or Harrison, because of no options.
