My point was where’s the scouting what are they doing where are they looking. Dragusin spurs, rogers villa and Wharton palace there’s 3 I can think of last season not obvious deals or mega money either just good scouting.

The thing I can’t fathom is that if we all accept that the value for money isn’t there this window, why are we not using all our loans up?

By my reckoning we have two loans spots left open even if we keep Harrison and an injured Broja.

Surely we can find two players to loan with an option to buy in the summer if we want to. Like Weah from Juventus and Truffert from Rennes for example.

Maybe they aren't available? Or the players don't want to come?

Thelwell had a whole month to make something happen other than alcaraz. I know funds are very limited, but that's what he is there for, make deals happen. This has been yet another disappointing jan transfer window imo

I have it on good authority that Kev had 3 top signings lined up but stopped answering his phone when he and Moyes agreed they’d rather see @matty1878’s missus’ funbags.

If we go down now, it’s on him (and her).

They generate more than 5x that in a season and have barely spent anything in 18 months.
