It is just so nailed on that we sign him anyway though. Ripe for a classic Everton 5 year deal that ladIn BBC gossip column, I see Benfica are sending back Todibo from loan to Barca early in January. At least that's one bad player we avoided.
I don't know how he's been performing but that loan itself was figuring as anything too. That Schalke team was really bad. It seems that the one decent player has already been discovered in McKennie. No need to shop there for the foreseeable future.
If we want a good RB we should look at Wilfried Singo of Torino, he is 19 years old, 6ft 3in, good in the tackle, quick, and got skills going forward.
It isn't supposed to be just that but I agree the lack of cheap, useful players stinks.
I thought Brands was also going to modernize the academy and set a style of play that we would recruit to even if the managers changed. We haven't had those things happen either.

Can honestly say I think the last home sick player we had was Stephen Hughes. Who openly admitted he didn't like the north. Don't know who else you could be talking about.Whoever we get, please, please, can we ensure that the player is not prone to homesickness. We have a squad absolutely riddled with Potty Syndrome as it is. We do NOT want another sissy in the team.

I recall all the fuss about him saying the right things, being good looking and endearing himself as 'one of us.' But I also recall thinking all of the great PR never really translated to the pitch.Liverpool & West Ham away, outstanding
Plus the majority of games in his first season with us
Off the top of my head: Barney, Snail, Crab, Iceland, Pete Andre*. I am dubious about Xmas and Dirty and Trusthouse*. And Wisdom and Disinclined* (both of whom are no longer with us) seem a lot happier now.Can honestly say I think the last home sick player we had was Stephen Hughes. Never seen him. But from what you say he will cost a lot of moneyIf we want a good RB we should look at Wilfried Singo of Torino, he is 19 years old, 6ft 3in, good in the tackle, quick, and got skills going forward.
