The more I see of Kalvin Phillips at Leeds, the more I would be happy to see us go for him. I reckon he'd slot in nicely as the DM to sit in front of the back four, allowing Allan and Doucoure to concentrate on what they do best.

He looks a very good player who would be perfect for what we need in that position but he is at the heart of that Leeds team, also i am pretty sure that the RS made an approach during the summer for him and were quoted daft money.

I can't remember but it was a lot they wanted something like £50m+ which for a young lad just coming up from championship who at the time was unproven was a lot, it was either them or Man U.

Luckily it should only take him a year to get used to the league so we can should be able to get a good half a season out of him.

People turning their nose up at Khedira yet what we need is a position midfielder infront of the centre backs and thats what he would be, not a long term signing but neither is James & Allan

James and Allan are 29 and Khedira is 33 and had loads of injury problems. He was also the slowest player on earth 10 years ago.

Yeah they did but that was more to do with them needing to keep the player, Brighton know they have a prospect there and they want to keep him until he gets a call up to the international team by all accounts.
