Struggling with the amount of double negatives in here but I get the gist ;)

He definitely has a laid-back demeanour.

Just looking at his stats though. Over 19/20 season he had a pretty high % aerial and ground duels won. This site reckons he is most similar in style to Richarlison: https://smarterscout.com/articles/b...-premier-league-richarlison-christian-pulisic

Could play across the front three and would be good competition for Richy. Thing is he's only just gone to Borussia Mwhatyoucallem so might be tough to prize him away.

Agree he needs to add goals to his game. But then so does Richy
I'm not saying he's not a good player. I'm saying that the way he would be treated would not be great.

I also think that post reads fine.

My guess is that Ancelotti and Mourinho's man management is significantly different that each manager can get players working that the other one can't. And by that I am implying that Carlo is a bit more tactful and supportive and that might be what Alli needs.

Having said that, I'm not overly fussed by Alli either way.
Yes in terms of personality and getting one motivated, not so sure it can fix something like laziness. Dont think he's a bad player at all but just something not right. I want players who work for the team regardless of what style they are. CAn say all sorts about Jose but one thing he expects from his players is to work.

not heard of this guy before, Boulaye Dia, forward as a back up to DCL, around £15m. I could see it happening we certainly need more options up front

Is he Ali's cousin?...:D

While I do want a striker its far from top priority in January. I think we need to address the RB situation and another decent CM.
Holgate will be tussling with Seamus for the RB spot now , he wont be getting CB anytime soon bar injuries etc.
Plus Godfrey & Branthwaite can slot straight in.
LB more of a priority.

Even more is a centre forward , if Dom's out we are relying on an out of form very moody Richy.
Take them 2 out we are toothless.

Plus Levy isn't letting him go for serious money and then his extortionate wages make it even less attractive as a proposition

It looks like a loan deal.

Levy has made a mess of a few transfers recently, and given he's not involved, we could probably pick him up in January for covering a portion of his wages.

You also have to acknowledge the depth Spurs have. Moura, Bergwihn, Gedson etc all below the first team. With us you are really looking at Bernard and Tosun. Their players are much better in reserve. In midfield it's Lo Celso and Ndombele. For us it would be Sigurdsson and Gomes

They have also built around Son and Kane. Alli's face doesn't fit.

For us he would be a starter. Clearly the Mourinho approach didn't work and he doesn't need him. Not sure the same would be true here.
