Everton January transfer window 2021

Hes played 2 games more than I thought he would, so who knows.
I'd still like to just see him play 5 games straight but I guess we kind of do need to protect Pickford who is an actual asset and he's played slightly better even if that means he's gone from a complete pile of steaming hot crap to merely pretty bad.

This window is going to be very interesting for the top two men at the club.

One the one hand it’s going to be an indication of Moshiri’s ambition for the club despite the doom of COVID and the impending massive spend of the stadium.

you have to think that the league this year is wide open for us to make a giant leap forward if there is money in Jan to give us that extra push.

However, it is also going to be interesting to see Brands tested in terms of getting rid of players we just don’t want.

The problem with January is money isn't everything. Teams struggle to replace players so they'll try to hang on to players even for completely reasonable offers. You always have to overspend pretty much.

Yeah, I think if we are going to be making big strides we are going to have to look at leagues struggling most with the pandemic like France. As opportunistic as that sounds, we would actually be helping them and helping ourselves in the process so it’s a win, win as much as can be.

Guess we're clearing the loan spots. Isco & Khedira?

Carlo's actual quote is he wants a deal for Olsen in either January or June so I don't think we are necessarily looking to do the deal in January for another particular reason.

Really can't see Isco happening - think Khedira is nailed on just hope we bring in a good enough back up to DCL sick of having no option off the bench for us to turn too.

Another RW would be beneficial if funds allowed it.

Mbappe it is then!

It would take 6 mths to get Isco to shed the timber.

if Carlo wants khedira that’s good enough for me.

olsen signing on a perm is great. Would like to see him play more.

I didn't know he existed till I read some dodgy article but I think wout weghorst (awesome name) from wolfsburg would an ideal backup for DCL. Seems to be a solid target man
