...he looks a modern day FB to me, but I like what I’ve seen. Very fast, will get behind the opposition back four and provide threat. Keeping possession is a key attribute and he looks comfortable playing in little possession triangles in similar fashion to what Baines was magnificent at.

He’s not the biggest or most powerful so there might be a bit of vulnerability but defending is an aspect of his game that will improve. We need a RB for the future, if we can get this youngster for the right fee I’d be happy.

Id prefer Emerson but Aarons could be a tasty high potential signing as well.

He turns 21 on 4th Jan so a bit younger than Godfrey...hopefully the same ability level.

I can see us getting Olsen on perm so we can get some loans. Khedira plus a striker on loan, with another signing in midfield. Tosun and Bernard maybe moving out.

Isco's best skill isn't really that though mate. It's his ability to glide with the ball and get into space and pick that little pass.

We have a better passer than Isco is in James, but he lacks that bit of pace to carry the ball.

Trust me, not turning down Isco if he were an option, but if we're going to sign a 28-year-old then it'd be south London I'm looking at, not Madrid.

Leon Bailey, someone of that standard (if not him) - someone of that style of play, that pace and power and energy.

What's the thoughts on Isco & Khedira? Would they add quality to our midfield? I'm assuming they wouldn't add much pace at their ages.

I believe they would add some control and hopefully vision.

Nope, this excuse doesn't stand anymore.

Our deadwood is going to leave, at the latest, within six months.

We're likely gonna make good money on Kean, if we decide to sell.

The excuses are drying up. It's time to be decisive.

I trust him with negotiations, trust him to get deals done, but he needs to act quickly.

Not defending him. Just saying he is going to have his hands full if we are to progress. Too many players on big wages and not enough quality in the team. As far as I’m aware and correct me if I’m wrong only Walcott, Bolasie and Besic are up in the summer. Cenk for instance isn’t until 2022 and there’s nothing stopping him staying that year and picking up his wage.
