Just to clarify I meant when he plays as the #10 in our 4-2-3-1 he plays so far forward and does so little aside from pop up and score goals and whip in corners that I think he's closer to a forward than a midfielder.
That's actually the system which we should be playing if he plays.
He's looked much poorer on the ball when we've started switching back to that 4-3-3/4-5-1/4-1-5 (whatever random shape it is) in possession.
Still unsure why we switched away from it in the last few games.
