Couldn’t agree more. What’s the point in investing in young players if you decide to sell them on and make almost nothing of a profit. There just isn’t a point.

He wanted to play. He had to leave to play.

To me that isn't the same as wanting to leave. But I know for many it isn't a distinction they draw.

His agent wanted him to leave because his agent makes money moving him. Anyway whatever the case I would have liked to have seen him start more games for us but he was was clearly very raw, not starting ahed of Dom or Rich and not acclimitisrd to this league. Ultimately I trust Carlo's judgement. Looks like he is being sold and I hope that means we have identified a forward with pace who can perform in this league.

Don’t agree. He hasn’t looked even worth what we paid, let alone 15m on top of that. PSG won’t be offering much more than 31m, and no one else will, so take what we can

I think the ultimate problem for him is that he was playing in a bad team. I mean DCL scored most of his goals in the 2 or 3 month stretch we played decent and that isn't a coincidence. Kean would be fine if he were playing in our team that played for the first 8-10 games of this year.

But there is no reason to play him over DCL as DCL is just better. He left to play. This isn't an issue and we shouldn't negotiate like it is one.

He's 20 and is about to score 20 goals in a top 5 league+CL. I know the French League isn't all that but loads of talented youngsters make a name there. He's the next one and we own him.

I don't know if I all the way believe that but this is the pitch we have to make.
