Cant we just get Leon Bailey in and be done with it? Surly he is the player we are looking for. Can play anywhere across the front three, has speed and acceleration and is young. Why are we messing around with with more central midfielders? Just pay the money and bring the talent. HEAR ME BRANDS!!
It's all very easy to say let's just get Bailey and Aarons. Leverkeusen are in Champions league position, sell Bailey now and chances of the millions that pays will be diminished. They can still get huge money in Summer when there will likely be more suitors who can offer Bailey European football.

Same for Aarons, do Norwich risk promotion chances by selling him, players to go for are those that need money and players want out, Eduoard at Celtic for example, ideal backup for DCL.

not sure if he would be a good fit for us, his attitude is supposedly appalling

I genuinely hope this is not true. He's absolutely the type of player who two years down the road everybody's asking how much he needs to be sold for in order to break even on FFP. Watched him a ton of times, never once been impressed. People might say he'd be an improvement on Davies, but he's really not that great, and the fee wouldn't be anywhere near worth it, let alone the wage difference. Better players can be had for cheaper. Bring in the Ecuadorean ahead of him for 5M.

I don't know anything about this player but think we need more signings like this, I'm not a fan of all these links to players like Isco/Khedira etc. I know Ancelotti isn't here for the super long term of developing talent but we need to protect ourselves in the future as well and you never know he could make the step up to the first team.
Him, Kunks, God and Holgate can be our defence from 2022 - 2030.

A kid from Ecuador that will be lump into the youth team or a proven Chsmpions league midfielder for top clubs.

We are a class bunch

Won’t hear any Shevchenko slander, he was about 30 when he came to England and had been playing regularly since the early 90s. Haller was menna be entering his prime years and struggled to get game time over West Ham’s forwards

Think the Premier League is more about pace and physical attributes than other leagues.

Spain, Germany & Italy are more technical leagues but the game is a much slower pace than what is played over here.

Toshun and Kean are good examples of players who can score and be prolific in international football and in other leagues but look slow as hell in the Prem.

Aspas from the RS another who became very good in Spain but was crap here. Dont think its fair to label a player crap based solely on if they can handle English football or not.

lol please don’t mention Shevchenko in the same breath as this chump.

But whats the difference?

You're only judging Haller on his poor record in England - he was very good in Germany as Shevchenko was in Italy.

Obviously Shevchenko is the miles better player but if you are judging players solely by their record in England you cant pick and choose to suit your agenda.

What ever. Just get it done.

Good player just hasn't made the step up to the elite league.

Shevchenko amongst overs struggled over here doesn't make them crap.

Shevchenko was finished and still miles better in the Premier League than this donkey. He was also played on the right wing to try and accommodate him and Drogba in the same side. Accept you got this one terribly wrong, it’s fine, @MikelsGoat did too, you’re not alone.

I’ve said previously in here, he had a good record in Germany, and will do well in the Dutch league.

But to label him in the same category as one of the best strikers of his generation, who came to England late in his career is very silly.

Unsuited to English Football.. was quite a common phrase in the 90s. still true today.
