kenny done well on loan at a higher level.
brewster was rated by the same type of divvys that rated ibe and solanke

Kenny was 50/50 at Schalke - look im not arguing Brewster is class but a players value is only determined by what other clubs are willing to pay

Would you pay £10 million for Kenny? I know I wouldn't and thats your problem. Lad offers us nothing at present so take what you can get and get the wages off the books otherwise he'll end up another Dowell/Pennington.

There's lots in this. Firstly that 23m figure is rubbish with Liverpool. 17m is the majority of the downpayment. They will also have spread it across the contract. Expect within that 15-20% to go to his first club as a sell on (so deduct 4m ish) 10% to the lads agent and probably 10% to tge lad as he would have been pushed out (so again 3-4m). Thats 7-8m off the original fee. Liverpool in reality took home 8-9m having probabaly paid 2-3m originally when they signed him. He's a success story of sorts, but the money they make will be a lot lowerthan reported.

Brewster was part of an under 17's who won the world cup. He is a striker. He was still only. He was a top youth prospect. Kenny wasn't really any of them. He's 23 and has ultimately failed to make the grade here. 7-10m would be a great price, and in terms of pure profit will be similar to what Liverpool bank for Brewster.

tbf kenny was fairly highly rated at 18/19 and has also won the U17 euros and U20 world cup

To be fair, even though he's clearly not good enough for this league, if Kenny was at Liverpool he'd be sold for about 15m. I'll be happy if we can flog him for 5m.

They are happy to bid £4mill plus addons for some unknown Stoke CB with about 10 games, yet wont pay £8-10m for Kenny who is still young and proven at a higher level. Taking the pee
Almost as if they do their business based on what their manager and scouts think, rather than how much a few of our fans on the internet think they should pay for a player. Huge if true.
