Everton January transfer window 2021

The top of the league looks like it's going to be tight this season.

I feel if we get a forward in who can play across the front and are fortunate with injuries we've an outside chance of a top four finish. On the other hand we could miss out totally if we go stale and have to play a midfield without a combative figure.

I don't know the club finances or what we have planned for the summer but we've got a wonderful opportunity due to our manager to maybe achieve something ahead of schedule if things fall into place.

I would literally take anyone of Davies. Had enough chances. Completely out of his class tonight. Sorry Tom but I really do hope you will have a decent career. It just won't be with us

I've been a big critic but, he was pretty good tonight I thought?

We know we need better but he's a squad player and isn't going anywhere. He's filled in as a 6 quite well and that's probably just going to be his role going forward.

Ideally, we need more power in midfield because we so badly missed Doucoure tonight. Hopefully we have that already in Gbamin, if he ever gets back this season.

In fairness Zat, here he had something mad like 5 assists and a goal from the 10 games he played. Looked made for Lukaku. It was fairly simple what he did, but very effective. It was a big shame he got the injury he did.
He was like Iwobi. A lot of people didn't like the transfer so no matter what he did people weren't going to warm to him immediately. But unlike Iwobi he didn't have time to have people come around because he blew his knee out. I don't think he would have ever been necessarily worth what we paid but I have no doubt his reputation is better.

Its all well and good to look at (lets say) 5 assists from 10 games. Remember, one of those was where Lukaku literally took the ball off him and went on a charge before slotting.

Koemans game plan was to boot the ball to bolasie who then was supposed to bomb down the line and put a cross in. Most of the time he lost the ball, ran it out of play, punted it somewhere without looking and even when he beat a defender he wanted to go back and beat him again...and fail.

Hes played 119 games in the premier league, scored 11 goals and made 17 assists.

That really tells you all you need to know for one of the main two attacking focal points at Palace and Everton.

Hes a clown, not only in performances but also attitude.

Iwobi has been at the club 1.5 seasons. How many top games for us has he had?

Yes, Iwobi and Bolasie are similar, Iwobi seems to have a lot of similar traits...but at least Iwobi is able to pass a football.

In truth, Iwobi is also a flop for the money paid and is now a utility / cover player.

Two bizarre signings, same as Walcott was and all very similar to John Oster and Aiden McGeady aside from physicality.
