Pretty evident Tosun is getting interest so hopefully we can ship him off. Same with Bolasie if he can get to Boro today - it's wages off the book.

We need a forward in though.

It will be absolutely criminal if we don't get a forward in.

Look at last night, it was crying out for someone to come off the bench with 20 to go and rough them up. DCL looked absolutely goosed from minute 1.

Its all well and good to look at (lets say) 5 assists from 10 games. Remember, one of those was where Lukaku literally took the ball off him and went on a charge before slotting.

Koemans game plan was to boot the ball to bolasie who then was supposed to bomb down the line and put a cross in. Most of the time he lost the ball, ran it out of play, punted it somewhere without looking and even when he beat a defender he wanted to go back and beat him again...and fail.
Agree with this. There was no telepathic understanding between Bolasie and Lukaku where they were on the same wavelength, one assist was a touch on the half way line before Lukaku went on a solo run and one was him reacting first to a loose ball in the box and scrambling it across the 6 yard box where Lukaku tapped it in. He wasn't picking out runs with unerring accuracy or anything. Bolasie was always going to get assists in that setup because Koeman made him the focal point. Our game plan was to give him the ball all the time. 99% of the time he messed it up, occasionally he did something worthwhile. The odd assist - for a striker who has managed to score consistently whoever is supplying him - didn't make up for the fact he was a poor all round footballer.

It is not good for Evertonians to hear this declaration from the club's manager that the squad is good enough and big enough and nobody is leaving or joining. If our absentees became fit soon (which they won't), would they make a substantial difference? In the absence of a crowd, and the sort of abuse that last night's tactics would undoubtedly have produced, they will probably get away with it. Nobody paid or travelled to watch it so the anxiety/anger is muted. Everton are truly awful to watch entertainment wise, and yet there we are lingering around the top half of the table. What a weird season this is.

We need some pace badly, someone to get in behind their defender or run at the opposition defence. Pedro Neto would be a dream, but doubt anything can happen there.

Bernard and Gordon not good enough backups.
I’m not overly sold myself as he’s struggled in the budelsliga, but we were after Hwang Hee Chan last summer. West Ham are after him on loan and he’s apparently pretty fast. If we lose out to Zirkzee I wonder if they’ll return to him. My issues with a player like him is that he might not suit our strength in crossing. Just thinking out loud really

If we're not going to replace them I wouldn't shift gordon or bernard. They're not incredible by any means but with our history of injuries , bodies are a necessity. We already have two goalkeepers on the bench. It's going to be the kitman next

Agree here we threadbare as is.

Move these players on but say Tosun and Bernard both go we need something in replacement.
