So we’ve essentially conceded a challenge for a European place this season by doing no business in this window. We’ve accepted finishing mid table in the most open Premier League season ever. Excellent stuff, well played all concerned.
There is obviously a problem at Everton that runs deeper than the manager, the players or the director of football. Admittedly I don't know who to blame, but since 2016 with the exception of a few players, we've largely bought dross. We have had 7 transfer windows to replace Lukaku, we haven't, we really need another top class winger and replacement for Coleman and a new goalkeeper.
In the past whether you agreed with Moyes or Bobby's tactics, you at least understood what they were trying to do and their recruitment strategy. Which moron decided to sign Rooney, Sigurdsson, and Klassen in the same transfer window? I don't understand how Tom Davies is anywhere near a Premier League side, he's obviously a Championship player. It's blatantly obvious if god forbid DCL gets injured, then we'll be screwed, yet there doesn't seem to be any attempt to bring anybody in.
Another thing is why do some many of our players have attitude problems, this didn't exist before for the most part. Pickford is a arrogant divvy, Lookman had an attitude problem, The Snide did, Sigurdsson does, and certain other players do. It seems like they just can't be bothered sometimes, which never really happened under Moyes. The only thing that has changed and I'm not saying he's to blame is Moshiri coming in, either he's getting bad advice or he's making bad decisions.
