Honestly, the bloke really hasn't done himself any favours this window.

There's no valid reason for him to stay on other than continuity.

Has anybody considered the following two scenarios
Moshiri has closed his wallet until the dross has gone
Carlo only wants players for the first 11, not more dross and none are available

Absolutely amazing that we could see Lossl, Kenny, Pennington, Branthwaite, Besic, Bolasie, Bernard, Tosun all leave the club in this window with only really Branthwaite having any hope of coming back. That’s an amazing amount of players to be deemed non essential in the middle of a season when squads are being tested by injuries. An awful lot of wages tied up in those names just to have them warming the bench or kicking balls round finch farm.

We do need reinforcements, but equally I can understand cutting the squad back to a core of players that are actually useful. Barely any of the names on the outgoings list have contributed anything to this season so why keep them around? Carlo has played Sigurdsson at striker and Digne on the wing before trusting Tosun or Bernard so why keep them around.

Thats the problem though. Not saying Nketiah is the answer. However we're all so fixated on names and where they've come from and their price tags. Sometimes its worth taking a punt. Again, not saying to do so with Nketiah. But occasionally it could pay dividends

We have taken a lot of punts in the past
Its why we are where we are now
We should only be buying players who Carlo knows will improve the first 11

Not familiar with him. Since I stopped playing Footy Manager a few years back my knowledge of players is garbage these days.

So you’d rather keep a 3rd choice RB for 6 months than get some money for him for 6 months?

No, my point is I don't think he should be third choice.

We get very little from him staying and paying his wages. There's nothing to say the clubs can't negotiate something in the summer.
We do need to bring in a replacement though. Crazy if we don't.

If Tosun scores 10-15 goals in Turkey the fans will demand that Besiktas sign him on a perm and we will get some fee for him
