Letting Kean go on loan and not replacing felt like a pretty big mistake. Loaning Tosun out on top of that and still not bringing anyone in would be hilariously bad.

We have over 200 players at the club.

We could break the mould by playing U12s.

We would all like another attacking option, but if it doesn't happen, I'm not overly concerned, prefer to keep our funds for The summer personally.

Those same yoots you always say you can never win anything with?

I love stats but at the same time we now find ourselves 8th when a few weeks back we could of gone top of the table. A large part of why we have fell off is a lack of any depth in the squad. Yes we aren't losing too much if we get rid of the players listed but at the same time we are literally an injury or two away from having to shuffle our team around again.

I dont even think depth has been our issue, underperforming players has been our biggest failing, for me that's down to the midfield and Rico stinking.

Coupled with loads of injuries, yes a bigger squad helps, but the other day we had our first 3 CMs missing, not many squads can cope with that.

But you cannot play DCL every minute of every game why don't people understand squads???

It's not ideal - I said as much when Moise Kean went - we had no one other than DCL.

But I'd rather see the season out and finish 6th-10th and then spend properly in the summer rather than "build a squad" of crap.

Everton/Koeman did that once, built a squad to compete in the Europa. We needed depth. It culminated in Sam Allardyce taking this side to Arsenal in 2018;

For me Everton having Tosun and Bernard in the squad is the equivalent of me having a spare tyre in the boot of my car. To say that it's not worth having because I haven't had a puncture for the last 18 months is to completely misunderstand the point. The fact that I don't need it most days will be very quickly negated by the fact that it'll be there on the one occasion that I do need it. Same applies with these two. 'They haven't done much though' isn't justification for losing them as options, otherwise we might as well get rid of about a dozen others while we're at it.

Most young players get their chances through necessity.

Anyway, we all agree another option would be super.

Just personally I don't consider it as pressing as most, of course another injury to DCL and Rico and we are proper, proper goosed, but that's the gamble.

Loan I’ll accept and get behind it but it really won’t be a loan deal.

Every minute that passes today WITHOUT anyone offering King the £120k p/w his agent is asking for makes the likelihood of a loan increase. If he's not currently attracting any interest, then how would staying at Bournemouth for another five months help him?

We're getting rid of the trash so we can get in players who'll improve the squad. We haven't got rid of Tosun to bring in another Tosun.

Yeah but players like Tosun are mostly what you get.

We need an improvement, somebody to push DCL, I don't think you get that in a Winter window.

I understand that the lads leaving have hardly featured but they were still there in case of injury, now we really are down to bare bones and we've had a month to rectify that. Not good enough, we are short , you simply cannot be short, it's negligent.

we've got one of the worst benches in the league, It is an issue but it's not gonna be sorted in 2 windows in a pandemic.
