Last Saturday we were bullied all over the pitch by a Newcastle team that most on here would not rate and certainly would not want to sign any of them.

As a squad player if we sign somebody who always gives 100% , has pace and can score some goals... that would be a start.

I have no idea if we will sign anybody but we seem to turn our noses up very easily at players that do not have big price tags or high profiles.

If Josh King is the only player we’re are trying to sign, I would rather go with what we’ve got, we will want rid by the summer #gash

Sure and when dcl and richy are out who do you play in attack...siggy...because with the amount of games left in quick succession means that probably there will be games without dcl or richy or both...plus it will be a great opportunity to bench richy for a couple of games to remind him that he is not irreplaceable

Then use Gordon for all of the above than buy some tripe for the sake of making a signing. Gordon will get better with games under his belt (still not good enough btw) but neither is King and he never will be.

Bernard’s move to Al-Nasr has collapsed.

Not once did I sense that would happen. It just didn't feel remotely likely that he'd give up a good contract here.

If he's staying then he should start contributing. He hasn't performed well in over 2 years.

To be fair, I think the concern with King is his price-tag - at least in terms of wages.

You're right. We only named eight subs, including two keepers.
