Youth caps mean nothing, especially when you play for a northern team that’s not. Liv, Utd or city. Just look at any England youth squad. Dominated most of the time by London teams. And a few from the northern media darling teams.

The youth teams like England’s first team, is picked by who you play for first.

Wouldn't say that's the case with either the senior or junior teams now to be honest. I mean at both levels the best players generally tend to play for the best clubs so there'll always be a bit of a leaning towards the bigger teams, but most England youth teams include players from 10+ clubs.

If we are going to sell kean in the summer and tosun we might be able to get this guy. I'm not sure about the valuation there, he's young, English and on a 5 year contract, he's had 13 goals in 15 games so far, he could go for closer to £40m if he keeps scoring

Its amazing how having a scouting network that actually looks at what the team requires then uses stats to find the best players that fit the requirement. Then playing those players in a consistent formation in the position you bought them for can actually work.

Seems like cheating to me though. I much prefer our transfer strategy of buying over priced gash then acting shocked when they turn out to be gash and we don't even play them in their best position anyway.

Its amazing how having a scouting network that actually looks at what the team requires then uses stats to find the best players that fit the requirement. Then playing those players in a consistent formation in the position you bought them for can actually work.

It's a shame they didn't get a crack at the PL. I don't know that they'd have the money to keep themselves up but it could have been fun. They'd have kept Watkins so that would have helped.
