Stats wise he is a top level shot stopper. More than some nice saves.

Stats do nothing for me. Tim Howard had good stats with clean sheets for example.

Just going off totally what I see with my own eyes. He stood out to me when watching some videos online enough to put some effort in to watching him when the chance arose and I found him to have some deep flaws in his game especially his handling. Quite often he seems to pat the ball down before gathering it and never collects it first time. That always concerns me.

I mean it could be, but as someone who isn't watching Ajax nearly regularly enough to have anything but an anecdotal opinion I default to the numbers to some degree and they are strong.

And I've thought he's been good when I've watched him, fwiw.

Got just over a year left on his deal; surprised if he doesn't get moved on in Jan.
