They wear they're tops to watch the game in the pub even though they're playing at home. We go the game don't need to let people who we support we're there !

It's because our marketing team are hopeless, for years you couldn't get an Everton Jersey in store anywhere in Ireland, even when I'd go to England I have relations near Birmingham and went over a couple of times a year, even the biggest sports stores in Birmingham had every team except Everton. It's improved lately but we are still way behind even other mid table sides.
What kid in Liverpool is going to consider supporting Everton, imagine seeing all the success the RS have had recently and then deciding to support Everton.. success will get you fans, years of being on a scale from bad to average won't inspire too many kids to support you.. simple as that.

All I see in moorfields train station is Liverpool adverts

we might be on the forefront of having a billionaire owner, a new stadium on the docks and spending millions on players every summer but we are joke when it comes to advertising our club and getting better brand deals and sponsorships
The best comment on the thread.
What about the LFC bus tours driving around the City every day.?
Never see any Everton advertised ground tour buses.
They may have them though. Just not in your face.

It used to feel as though the claim that Everton had more fans within the city was true, but I don't think it's the case anymore.

Barely any of the Reds at my school ever saw the inside of Anfield, but then they weren't exactly jealous of my weekends with Walter.

The streets of Liverpool is awash with Liverpool kits, i have seen nothing but Liverpool kits on the kids of Liverpool, it's about 80% Liverpool, 20% Everton kits, this is absolutely disgraceful, the club is going to [Poor language removed].

Given your username, I'm very tempted to say you're talking out of your arse.

Very, very tempted.

How many of these scouse kids wearing their kits actually go to Anfield though, hardly any is the answer, far more scouse blue kids actually attend the games imo
There's more plastic tourists in the pit than real rs fans...courtesy of long established S/T holders flogging their tickets off to the highest bidder.

Can’t get tickets tho‘ la. Just because the OP says it doesn’t make it so, the queues Of kids with their parents outside the Everton shop were considerable in the first couple of weeks of the kit coming out.

i noticed it because I took a pic for the NSPCC.

Half of them dont even try to get tickets though, theyd rather watch it in the alehouse, tell them in the boozer that you can get them a spare for face value and they will go white as a ghost and find every excuse why they can't go.

Not sure that would come into your thinking if your aged 12 tbh.

Regarding kids in Liverpool supporting Everton. The ones where there dad brother uncle is a blue they will be a blue. My brother doesn’t like the footy but I have made sure my two nephews are blues. If you have kids an you allow them to support that horrible cult you have failed as a parent.

We might be crap an not winning anything but least we are normal unlike the majority of their weirdo fans. I used to think it was the out of town fans but the scouse ones are just as bad don’t go the game but will clap an sing never walk alone to a tele screen. I don’t even talk to my red mates about footy any more it’s impossible to have a normal conversation with them about it.

Growing up in Liverpool with mates that a both blue an red. I didn’t think I would have the hate I have for their fan base that I do now. disgusting fans sore losers even worse winners they are everything they used to claim to hate about Manchester United an worse.

Honestly it's fair weather or casual fans grabbing the kit cus they won the league and champions league and wearing about cus it cost 200 quid or something or why not.

We have more season ticket holder, and we had a higher percentage at Goodison this year. Of people I know round my age (late 20s) who actually follow the footie proper you have a pretty even split.
