The best comment on the thread. All I see in moorfields train station is Liverpool adverts
we might be on the forefront of having a billionaire owner, a new stadium on the docks and spending millions on players every summer but we are joke when it comes to advertising our club and getting better brand deals and sponsorships
The streets of Liverpool is awash with Liverpool kits, i have seen nothing but Liverpool kits on the kids of Liverpool, it's about 80% Liverpool, 20% Everton kits, this is absolutely disgraceful, the club is going to [Poor language removed].
There's more plastic tourists in the pit than real rs fans...courtesy of long established S/T holders flogging their tickets off to the highest bidder. How many of these scouse kids wearing their kits actually go to Anfield though, hardly any is the answer, far more scouse blue kids actually attend the games imo
Can’t get tickets tho‘ la. Just because the OP says it doesn’t make it so, the queues Of kids with their parents outside the Everton shop were considerable in the first couple of weeks of the kit coming out.How many of these scouse kids wearing their kits actually go to Anfield though, hardly any is the answer, far more scouse blue kids actually attend the games imo

It's because our marketing team are hopeless, for years you couldn't get an Everton Jersey in store anywhere in Ireland, even when I'd go to England I have relations near Birmingham and went over a couple of times a year, even the biggest sports stores in Birmingham had every team except Everton. It's improved lately but we are still way behind even other mid table sides.
What kid in Liverpool is going to consider supporting Everton, imagine seeing all the success the RS have had recently and then deciding to support Everton.. success will get you fans, years of being on a scale from bad to average won't inspire too many kids to support you.. simple as that.
Not sure that would come into your thinking if your aged 12 tbh.
