They win stuff we don't and kids want to support teams that win thing's.
Also the city is covered in RS advertising if you were a tourist that wasn't into footy you'd think there was only one team in this city.
Everton from a marketing aspect is probably one of the worst run clubs in the country. It's probably my biggest issue with Moshiri, he should be getting the best we can get in at key positions at the club. Instead we've got someone who's never been a CEO as our CEO, you know just the most important position in any business no big deal.
The RS may of gotten klopp in but they also got the head of ea in as their CEO and he has taken them from strength to strength and made them 100's of millions in the process.
When I'm in the city centre I see a few more red than blue tops but not significantly more (RS home match weekends excepted). I recall when I was at Primary School age in the late 50s and early 60s the overwhelming majority in school followed us. Such is life, although things are much more accentuated now with the mass coverage of football in the media and the Sky TV focus on a handful of clubs.Being home this summer I was actually pleasantly surprised by how many Everton shirts I did see around the city. Thought there´d be none.
Agreed. More visual presence is required in the city centre, particularly now that the RS murals seem to be appearing everywhere (and so far, unbelievably, without defacement). Can't we have one of those laser beam images showing the badge, pointing skywards from GP, a la Batman? That would be cool, visible every night from anywhere in the city. All I see in moorfields train station is Liverpool adverts
we might be on the forefront of having a billionaire owner, a new stadium on the docks and spending millions on players every summer but we are joke when it comes to advertising our club and getting better brand deals and sponsorships

just stick tom davies face on a boohooman advert would do for meAgreed.
