If I agreed with you, we’d both be wrong.
Steve Walsh had Haaland but Moshiri wouldn't spend 2 million...... Given our record of academy players making it to first team, if we had signed him he'd probably be on loan at Bradford with Everton calming that he's not ready for first team football.Surely the answer has to be Koeman?
Sigurdsson - £0 return (potentially £50m lost)
Keane - £0 return (and 9 years of wages; £24m down)
Schneiderlin - £20m loss
Bolasie - £0 return (potential loss of £27m)
Ashley Williams - £0 return
Klaassen £12m loss
The only signing during his reign who's proven to be useful had been DCL & Pickford.
I do maintain that Steve Walsh got a tough deal. Had Koeman and Moshiri doing what they wanted; but his track record with young signings was very, very good. Everyone we shifted we did so for a profit.
I met Erling Haaland at Everton but Farhad Moshiri rejected £2m transfer wish
Everton had Erling Haaland visit Finch Farm as a teenager with then director of football Steve Walsh, only for Farhad Moshiri to reject any potential transfer reputedly
