Online gambling company Fruity King has reportedly emerged as the front runner in the race to become Everton FC’s new shirt sponsor and they could be poised to agree what would be the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the Toffees’ history.

Everton’s current shirt sponsorship deal with Thai beer company Chang is due to expire at the end of the season and the Premier League side are reportedly already “in talks” with Fruity King over a deal worth up to £22million.

The mobile casino brand has previously been in talks with the SPFL over sponsorship of the four senior leagues for £1.75million a year (as revealed by the Daily Record) but they subsequently lost out to Ladbrokes.

Fruity King have also previously been linked with becoming the main shirt sponsor of Celtic but again fell short to DafaBet.

A Fruity King spokesperson confirmed talks with Everton by stating: “We’re discussing a potential partnership with several clubs. Everton is a world-class organisation. We’re working hard behind the scenes and hope to finalise a deal in the near future. I’ve got a good feeling we can thrash out a new deal”

Everton were taken over by billionaire Farhad Moshiri earlier this year and the Iranian businessman is planning to transform the Toffees into a team which consistently challenges for Champions League football.

The increased spending power means that Everton have become to be a more attractive destination for a number of players and the club also seem to have managed to attract sponsors with their new found ambition, as evidenced by Fruity King’s reported deal with the Merseyside based outfit.

On Fruity King’s website it has been stated they are a “one stop destination for online mobile casino gaming needs” and the potential deal would prove to be a landmark for both the company as well as Everton.
Everton sponsored by fruity king songs like a piss take

Fruity King was proven as a pee-take some time ago. All absolute hogwash written by their own company for attention.

Horribly dodgy company. Hope not.

Gambling can destroy lives just in the same way alcohol can. Personally, I don't think either should be permitted for sport sponsorship. But, seeing as they are permitted - I don't really care if it's a beer or betting company. All that matters is that we extract the most we can from the deal.
