CONFIRMED: Stones to Man City for a “record transfer fee” via GrandOldTeam

Everton have confirmed that John Stones has joined Manchester City for a record transfer fee.

Earlier, the official Uefa website had named John Stones in the Manchester City Champions League squad ahead of their play-off clash with Steaua Bucharest.

UEFA explained: “He (Stones) was in squad list we received from Man City. Deadline was yesterday & player was in the squad. He’s registered to play.”

Everton have now confirmed that John Stones has sigedn for Manchester City for a record transfer fee.

Ater Everton confirmed that John Stones had signed for Manchester City, Barkley sent an Instagram update which read: “Gutted to see my mate leave today, going to miss him around the place and on the pitch. All the best lad”

Williams Deal Agreed via GrandOldTeam

Everton have agreed a £12m fee with Swansea City for Ashley Williams.

Williams is currently travelling to Merseyside for a medical ahead of completing a reported 2 year deal.

Last week, Swansea confirmed that they had rejected a bid of £10m from Everton, but Everton returned with an improved offer to get their man after John Stones left for Manchester City.

Ex-Wales defender Danny Gabbidon, a player consultant for Williams’ agent, tweeted: “I believe a fee has been agreed between #EFC & #Swans for Ashley Williams.

“Medical booked and player en route.”
