Everton have made Yannick Bolasie a top transfer priority and have had a £18m bid for rejected, according to the guardian.
The Guardian report Everton intend to make a renewed offer of around £20m and although Crystal Palace value the 27-year-old at £30m – they could be tempted to cash in on the winger having signed Andros Townsend for a club record £13m and needing to free up funds for a new bid for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
Bolasie has been with Palace since 2012 and scored 12 goals in 132 league appearances, including six goals in 31 appearances in all competitions last season as Palace reached the FA Cup final for the first time since 1990.
The DR Congo international has been a stand-out performer for Palace in recent seasons as they secured their status as a Premier League club once again and he only signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract last September.

Where does that leave us? It probably leaves us goggle-eyed over the future of Mauro Icardi, the most obvious remaining candidate to move for Silly Money after a tortuous saga over the next three weeks. Arsenal have been the Internazionale forward’s most committed suitors and still appear to see Olivier Giroud as bait, but the wildly gesticulating, healthily coiffured figure you see galloping over the horizon in last-ditch pursuit is Antonio Conte with Chelsea scheming over a £50m bid to ruin the Gunners’ summer and make themselves feel better after failing to land Romelu Lukaku.
Welcome to the ticket bulletin for Monday 8 August. The bulletin will provide Evertonians with information on the Blues' opening Premier League matches under new manager Ronald Koeman.against West Bro… Read Full Article

Defender already included in Man City’s Champions League squad
Despite still officially being an Everton player Manchester City have seemingly taken the time out to include John Stones in their Champions League squad.
According to the UEFA website Stones is among City's registered defenders for their upcoming play-off against Steaua Bucharest complete with a squad number of 24.
The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium this summer but Everton are not budging on their £50m valuation for the former Barnsley youngster.
Are Man City being premature? Is this a cock-up on UEFA's part? Or is the deal already done and we just don't know about it?
Whatever the reason it merely increases the speculation about Stones' future and suggests it does indeed lie away from Goodison Park.
If that's the case then Ronald Koeman and Steve Walsh need to act quickly to bring in replacements with less than a week to go until the start of the new Premier League season.
