He's better than you at spelling, though.

Exactly mate, to hear some on here you'd think we were fighting a propoganda war against a well oiled military machine.

When the reality is that we're talking about some bell end Ulsterman & his bone headed captain, spitting bile & deflecting away from their own obvious inadequacies after pissing away a 2 goal lead in the derby & the latter feeling a genuine sense of unease as to the quality of the opposition, hence his transparent, out dated, ****ty attempt at a put down.

The next derby will be won on the grass, same as all the others, there's a change in the tide, we witnessed it on Sunday. No shiite side that I've ever seen would have lost a 2 goal lead in a derby at all, let alone as meekly as that lot did. Gerrard knows they're no better than us now, the gulf in class has gone, the days of them being on a different level to us are history, & he's stewing on that reality.

Let them all stew in their own piss & wallow in their faux sense of superiority. They've become a parody of themselves of late, & the press have cottoned on to it, they've been boxing shadows this week, like some pissed up old tramp & it's been hilarious. I can partly understand the older lads wanting to see a sleeves rolled up street fight (as there's been times when it's been called for & we've let them off the hook), but I think this time they're mis-guided, as we've been better served sitting back & laughing.

I admire your chutzpah, ripping into them as you have is exactly the attitude. Trouble is why not the same from personnel who wear our colours? The reds have it and bar a blue linesman on sunday there'd be a very different debate going on, the 2 goal turn around would have had a very different value today.

They were/are poor but are work in progress, we are as close to maximum as steady as you go, shiney shoed, god fearing churchgoers can get.

They'll remember the last 2 mins at GP plus the media fest on Gerrard and make no mistake their "fck you" attitude full of vengence and bile will be at full chat at Anfield. Particularly if this result acts as a springboard for Rodgers as I fear it will.

Rodgers come here under scrutiny the old foe (us) smugly perched above him, this was his coming of age test and he wasn't defeated. He passed his test and very nearly with flying colours.

The sooner the realisation these heathens play for keeps and turning up in best bib and tucker with our noses in the air is just seen as a joke by them the better.

I'll repeat and repeat it, they're bullies, you have to stand eyeball to eyeball and do something about it. Not taking any crap in the media would be a fine place to start.

As others have said the game is about variance, however, it has to be said the long ball game when it works is exciting. Stoke fans loved it when De Lap hurled the ball via a throw in or it was lumped for the knock on (they were good at it though).

When we had Lineker there was a touch of long ball about us - exciting stuff at times.

I was at the Liverpool/Swansea match tonight (for work)...great match, Swansea were great and deserved the win.

But Gerrard came on at half time, and I dont remember him passing that much, all he did was get the ball in his own half and cross it up field, and he did that all game. The fans around me were getting very frustrated with him. Constant long ball.
