Everton player you disliked the most

current: dislikes probably a bit much but im not really a fan of gibson, think he's the most overrated player ever by our fans.

previous: andy johnson, again nothing against him but thought he was pretty ****

Jelavic. I'm sorry.

I didn't dislike him per se, but him constantly being offside, out wide or on the floor after trying for a header really tested my patience. Not to mention his complete inability in front of goal.

Absolutely awful to watch, considering those first couple of months.

Heitinga. I couldn't stand him.
So much talent, but never seen such a coward of a centre-half. EVERY game there would be a tackle/challenge he would sh1t out of. Unacceptable for almost any player, but especially a defender.

Phil Neville is definitely up there for me. The man, whilst a great professional and was obviously very well respected within the game, summed up everything that was wrong with Moyes' Everton. No ambition, no skill, no idea how to galvanise a team, no idea how supporters felt. Only reason he got into our team when he was clearly finished as a player was because he was 'grafter', the type of player Moyes adores. I would literally swear out loud every time I saw our team sheet and it had his name on it. The day he announced he was retiring and sodding off back to Utd was a fantastic one.

Another player I never took too was James Beattie, I disliked him originally because of a personal experience and only ended up disliking him even more when he turned out to be crap. Not sure if I've told this story on here but I will again just to be clear. The first game after Beattie signed for us (was our record signing for £6m) where he'd be in the squad, me and my brother went to the ground early to hang around the players car park and get autographs and photos. Got there at about 10am on a FREEZING January morning. All the players pulled up, one by one, and all of them stopped for at least a few autographs. By about half 1 Beattie was the only player who hadn't arrived yet and the crowd (which had grown to about a 100 people) were all frozen solid yet everyone was desperate to wait for him. He finally turns up eventually and everyone starts chanting for him. He gets out of his car, grabs his bag and walks straight past every single person who'd waited hours for him. Not even a glance, just completely blanked everyone. Never took to the fat git after that.

After careful consideration, I think for me it's **** off McMahon.

Followed by Judas Barmby, who I disliked even before he played for us.

You know what mate I can't find a single thing wrong with your post, they really were the most disliked players ever to put on the royalblue.

Yes but you have to take rule changes into account as well.

Honestly, McMahon was a ballbag. He lived in Ainsdale and a lad I know who lived there delivered his paper when we were kids. McMahon was the only person on the street who never used to leave him something at Christmas. Prick.

Past: Arteta with his I wont leave this summer bull then buggers off last minute. Still shout (naughty word) whenever I hear his name.

Present: Pienaar. Dunno, just dont like how half assed he is defending, that's all really.

How can you pick them two out of some of the scrotes that have played for us over the years?

Suppose it's just a personal opinion, like, but how can you hate Arteta more than McMahon or Barmby?

When Barmby was about I was 10(ish) and didnt have much interest in football. I preferred climbing trees and throwing stones.

The ones I've picked are from the years I remember

If we disliked them once they had left, then they were technically not Everton players I suppose.

In all honesty I support whoever crosses the white line for us.

Never really got along with Gary (Meggers) Megson though. Waste of what was a lot of money in themadays.
