...just saw Connolly’s goal on the news, he did well getting his head on one in the crowded area. As an aside, Jose Baxter scored the first goal in Paul Scholes tenure in charge of Oldham.

Watched a bit of the WBA match. Holgate was fine. Tidy. Good decisions on the ball, although he had lots of time. Solid defending. Nothing dynamic, though. Forrest were packing it in a bit, honestly. WBA had the ball a ton and Holgate was pushed up higher, although to call him a wing back would be an exaggeration. Game was relatively slow. Boring.
