Championship
Fulham - Luke Garbutt started on subs bench and was brought on in 6th minute of 3-1 away win at QPR

OS Match Report
"But it was 2-0 to Fulham moments later. Garbutt did well to keep possession from two QPR players just outside the box. He tapped a pass to McCormack on the left flank and the Scot laid it back to O’Hara who delivered a peach of a cross to the far post where the head of Dembélé guided the ball in from close range.
And things got even better as the first half ticked in additional time. A delightful ball by Garbutt sent McCormack scampering down the left. He slipped a lovely pass into the path of Dembélé whose scuffed shot beat Smithies but hit the far post. It mattered little as Cairney was there to slot home the rebound via the boot of a sliding Rangers defender on the line."
"It could have been 4-0 when an O’Hara cross was only cleared as far as Garbutt who lashed a right-footed effort wide of the far post from eight yards. Cairney then shot straight at Smithies after good work by Garbutt down the left."

League One
Wigan - Conor McAleny started and played 81 minutes in 0-0 home draw with Oldham

OS Match Report
"Latics were having the better of it early on though, and created the best chance of the contest in the sixth minute through Conor McAleny, after good work from Yanic Wildschut.
The Dutch winger was causing havoc as usual down the left hand side and beat several players on a mazing run, before squaring to the forward, who just fired wide of Coleman’s right hand post.
McAleny was at it again on 19 minutes, winning a free-kick after being brought down by Anthony Gerrard. The loan man was surging forward, and Gerrard was swiftly put into the book for the foul.
The forward elected to take the free-kick from the edge of the area and went mightily close, just grazing the side netting with his effort – leading to many thinking he had scored."

"The Everton lad just didn't cut it and should have been replaced at half time."
"The criticism of McAleny is somewhat unfair as he spent most of the match chasing lost causes."
"I can only think that we have guaranteed game time to McAleny in the deal with Everton."

Conor Grant and David Henen not in matchday squads. (Henen back at EFC for treatment on hamstring. Grant injury.)

League Two
Yeovil Town - Liam Walsh played full match in 1-2 away defeat at Hartlepool

How different are Ledson and Walsh as players?

When Barry leaves in a season we are left with McCarthy and will need someone to come through as backup. Sounds like these two are our best current options?

One of Kenny and/or Holgate needs to come through as backup for Coleman for next season.

Yes, it's about the level of League Two isn't it? That Embolo who people have linked with various teams is on the other side.
Yeah it's a weird league, seems to be a mixture of highly rated up and coming talent and players that are almost finished. Embolo's valued at about £20m, In theory he should be tearing these apart.

Swiss Super League
Grasshoppers Zurich - Shani Tarashaj started and played 57 minutes before being subbed in 0-4 home defeat by leaders FC Basel

Not much in the way of individual commentary about him - about all I could find was this from a local newspaper live ticker:
43: Tarashaj shows full commitment to get to the ball first in the FCB penalty area and passes to Kamberi, who shoots and forces Vaclik into a difficult save

Random fan comments
Tarashaj - his head's already in England. One or two good efforts, otherwise unremarkable
Tarashaj for me was one of the few who played to an acceptable level today. He ran himself into the ground. Mostly without any luck. Still, it shows something that, in combination with Kamberi, he set up the only shot on goal in the first half.
