I think McAleny and Grant both got knocks a couple of games ago.
Ya you wouldn't hear much of grant after a great start.seems to happen more often than not that our young players go on loan and rip it up for 2 or 3 games then fade away a bit.liam walsh seems to be having the most consistent loan spell, well apart from his sending off and he was unlucky there.

League One
Fleetwood Town - David Henen started and was subbed in the 70th minute of 0-0 away draw with Chesterfield

OS Match Report
"The game sprang into life as both teams started to find space to attack. Fleetwood arguably had the better of the chances as Henen forced Lee into a save from 20-yards"
"Henen, on his return to first team action, hammered a 20-yard strike inches wide of the right hand post."

National League
Barrow - Michael Donohue started, was booked early and was brought off at half time in 2-1 away win over Chester

Local paper report

Random fan comment
Haworth was good and a cut above Donohue.

League One
Wigan - Conor McAleny started on subs bench, was brought on at half-time and scored in 1-0 home win over Rochdale

OS Match Report
"The interval saw the introduction of Conor McAleny, who was brought on in place of Ryan Colclough."
"Latics continued to push, and the breakthrough eventually game 23 minutes from time through McAleny, who got on the end of a goalmouth scramble to force the ball home.
The move started through Yanic Wildschut, who turned into space in the area and saw his effort loop on to the crossbar. Carnage soon ensued, with Vuckic and Grigg both going for the ball, before McAleny popped up to force it home from 6 yards."
"Latics were restricted to hitting the visitors on the break, but went close on numerous occasions late on themselves, with the best chance falling to McAleny six minutes from time.
The forward was released onto the right hand side of the area by a clever ball from Power, and hit an effort from a tight angle which forced Lillis into a smart stop."

Twitter stuff
53' The free-kick is taken short by Max Power to McAleny, whose effort from distance is comfortable by Lillis (0-0)
67' GOALLLLL! @CMcAleny forces the ball home and Latics are infront! (1-0)
68' Total carnage in the penalty area as Wildschut's effort hits the bar, and a host try to finish. McAleny is there to finsh! (1-0)
84' Great ball from Power to release McAleny, who blasts it right at Lillis from a tight angle on the right (1-0)

McAleny certainly energized the team, he's like having another David Perkins up front!
Personally Vuckic would have come on for Colclough with the system changed though accept McAleny was more effective than young Ryan.

It's nice to see McAleny doing well and sounding confident, as the interviewer said he's got a good goals per game record for them . It would be nice if he helped Wigan to a promotion place and earned himself a permanent transfer to them.

Latest on OS , on Kenny, wonder if others will be extended to end of season, makes sense for most.
Jonjoe Kenny’s loan spell with Oxford United has been extended until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old defender initially joined the League Two outfit in January and has so far made 13 outings for Michael Appleton's side.

The extension means he will now be eligible for the Football League Trophy final against Barnsley at Wembley this weekend, a game in which he could line up against Blues teammate Callum Connolly, who is currently enjoying a loan spell with Barnsley.

He will also continue to play a part in Oxford’s promotion bid, with the Kassam Stadium outfit currently sitting second in the league table with six games remaining.

Kenny, a Euro Under-17 Championship winner with England, was the Everton Under-21s’ captain last term and spent time on loan at Wigan Athletic earlier in the campaign.
