Tierney will still leave Celtic I feel, it's time for him to test himself elsewhere and what else can be achieved? Personally think he might end up at United, they need a long-term LB and Shaw clearly isn't Mourinho's cup of tea. Really hope we get a deal done soon though, it will give everyone a massive lift.

I doubt that. Silva and Brands knows that playing in the prem would be a giant step up for him. He might make it, but I dont think he’s ready yet.
Id love for us to sign Tierney, but I just cant see it happening based on all these «Tierney loves Celtic» reports. If he were to leave, coming to us just doesnt make sense to me. Not because Everton isnt big enough, but I think he would go for a CL team.
Then again, Im talking out my backside, like we all are.

Surely that would be dependent on one of only four EPL clubs making a bid? Man City tend to look to buy the best players in the world. Mourinho doesn't seem to trust young players, though he has bough a young Portuguese right back. That would only leave Spurs, who were definitely looking at Tierney last season, and Liverpool who have bought Andrew Robertson, who looks to be doing really well for them.

Stop trying to cause friction? I only relied to people posts in the way they deserved to be replied. The people who made serious posts I gave them the respect they deserved. if people were arrogant, and called players in another league farmers/fisherman etc, or called Scottish people mutants and were from Jockistan in relied to them in the manner they deserved.

Incredibly the second most arrogant poster on here actually talked about arrogant posts on a Celtic supporters messageboard, and said they shameful. You really couldn't make it up. When did scousers become so sensitive and liked to give it out, but couldn't take any criticism in return? Have I come on to mumsnet by mistake?

I know our league isn't financially strong enough, but when you see arrogant posts from supporters of English clubs who rarely win trophies, I think it's fair enough to reply to them. What I didnlt expect is for the most arrogant ones to go whining about it when they got told some home truths in reply. Sorry.

Everton could have walked away as some others have said or Everton could be playing the game and be calling Celtics bluff on just how much they want up front as a down payment, seeing if they blink before the champions league money is accounted for.

from what I was told Celtic accepted a bid of 25 million for KT, but he turned down the move. I can't remember the exact wage he was offered it was either 60, or 65, thousand a week.

That came fromm a decent source, so it looks to me like Celtic are the ones pushing this, though I can't see them accepting less money than they were offered from an EPL cub who are a MUCH smaller club than Everton.
