Yes that is Celtic's business model, and I've resigned myself to him leaving. We have made a fair bit of cash from selling our best players, though it will be a huge loss to Celtic. I've seen Dalglish, and Larsson, move on and the world didn't end, but this will be a real sore one like those two leaving were.

They print out over inflated player valuations and get punters like John Hartson to tell the punters that Boyatas a 50 million player, Dembeles a 40 million player bla bla (their actually quite good at this) A fool and his money is easily parted

If the reports last week about personal terms being 'agreed' with the player are true then I'd imagine we'd at least test Celtic's resolve before moving on.

I think Celtic should tell KT to go down south for 25 million, and deliberately play [Poor language removed], so we can sign him for 5 million in two years, in time for 10 in a row.
Spurs manager does seem a lot more prepared to play young players than someone like Mourinho, though as someone on this thread pointed out they have a very good left back, I can't remember who, and Danny Rose as a reserve, so they don't really need another left back.
The only way I think we can avoid KT leaving is if someone comes in for Dembele, as Celtic seem to want the money, despite making the CL group stage two years in a row.
This may just be the CEO's of both clubs indulging in a game of poker, though Everton can't rule out other clubs coming in for KT, as, from what I've heard, Celtic already had a bid of 25 million for him, which the club accepted, but he didn't want to go.

I don't know if Tierney would want to go abroad. I think he's just a quite young guy, who likes hanging around with his mates, and avoids trendy nightclubs, and the trappings of fame.
Like I said earlier, I'm resigned to him leaving. It's up to clubs to come up with the money, but while he may want to play for one of the top four or five cubs in England, how many of them are in the market for a left back?

If that is true I would expect Tierney to end up at Goodison, once Everton pony up the 25 million. I have heard wages of 80-85 grand a week being mentioned,d but I didn't know KT had agreed terms with Everton.
