Do one lad. If you don't see what this means to the health of the club then you're part of the problem.

First of all I'm not a 'lad'

Secondly please tell me who else REALISTICALLY is a better choice right now?

None of our other targets wanted the job. This is the point I keep coming back to.

Do you honestly think all the personal digs towards him, the negativity etc is going to help get us out of this mess?

Yes should do, as we might get a decent manager in once he's gone.

I'd sooner trust EVERY SINGLE pundit, ex pro, ex players & staff who have ALL said to go for Allardyce over the arm chair, football manager, non match going numpties in here who think otherwise.

They might not all have an opinion you respect but I'd rather follow their opinions, who have actually been involved in the game then the whoppers on here who are in their 16th champ manager season.

Some absolutely disgusting comments being made about him on here before he's even managed 1 game.

Go & support them lot over the park if you want to act in such an embarrassing manor.

Best fans in the world us...
And you follow the people who all belong to the same football managers ,ex players merry go round club, where they all back each other up time and time again however many times they fail and none of them have any balls to criticise failure

All hail Big Sam (we can drop the fat bit now). So as I now perform the obligatory 180° turn and try to hide my embarrassment of my club, let us also welcome cheeky little Sammy when he arrives. I’ve now got to find a form of words, that makes it look as though he’s the best thing since sliced bread, to be able to use in the pub tonight. God help me.......

Only way we save the club is Root and branch removal of the culprits from Moshiri down to Sam and his kopite mates. How any blue can support this blue is beyond me. Anyone not criticising the board is part of the problem.

YES mate Sam allardyce is the only manager capable of taking a team that currently is 16th in the league and saving them from relegation, a team who is due to gain back 3-4 of its better players in the next 2-3 weeks and who has far more spending power than any other team in the bottom half with the transfer window only a month away.

He is the only one

and the person who just hired him, is the one who entrusted the spending of 140m this summer on the players who got us into this mess

But if you feel fine with Jim White officially announcing this rather than it being done official site, then yeah.

and honestly i don't give a flying one about watching my tongue in regards what i say about Allardyce, he is a crook and is a cancer whose damage remains at clubs long long after his 'rescue act' has gone.

really disappointed, however, barring newcastle who are just a show, he's always done well with what he's had.
He has a decent record against the top sides, noticeably liverpool.
He got bolton to a cup final ffs.
Hoping to be pleasantly surprised, gylfi for one should flourish under him given his liking for physical play and attacks based on set pieces
