OK so Sammy Lee has connections with the RS fine, apparantly he is a good coach. so why hold his playing days against him if his services can help us out? He's hardly the first red to go Blue or vice versa.

Sammy Lee as assistant manager???? Are you sure Everton?!!

A kopite as our assistant manager. Wow

A new low even for us! I imagine he will take great pleasure in “keeping us up” unbelievable

really disappointed, however, barring newcastle who are just a show, he's always done well with what he's had.
He has a decent record against the top sides, noticeably liverpool.
He got bolton to a cup final ffs.
Hoping to be pleasantly surprised, gylfi for one should flourish under him given his liking for physical play and attacks based on set pieces

You spelled extremely average wrong

Played against him in his south Liverpool days under 18 level,- I hold a grudge his team beat us 14-2 is that fair as Inwas playing central defender in a pair, never seen much of him tbh he was too good!
Is it fair I hold a grudge lol

I'd sooner trust EVERY SINGLE pundit, ex pro, ex players & staff who have ALL said to go for Allardyce over the arm chair, football manager, non match going numpties in here who think otherwise.

They might not all have an opinion you respect but I'd rather follow their opinions, who have actually been involved in the game then the whoppers on here who are in their 16th champ manager season.

Some absolutely disgusting comments being made about him on here before he's even managed 1 game.

Go & support them lot over the park if you want to act in such an embarrassing manor.

Best fans in the world us...

On a serious note just because they've played the game doesn't make their opinions any more valid than say a supporter who's been watching matches for 40+ years.

Loads of them fall flat on their face when given a chance to manage and the reactions to pochettino and silva says it all about their insular nature.

Football is a big clique of people bigging up their mates

Only way we save the club is Root and branch removal of the culprits from Moshiri down to Sam and his kopite mates. How any blue can support this blue is beyond me. Anyone not criticising the board is part of the problem.

But what's the point in criticising the board at this very moment in time?

We need unity. The team is on its arse.

I've happily criticised Kenwright & board many a time over the years.

I just don't think nows the time

Thats the sickening thing.

In the pocket of Kenwright and he is starting a PR war to get people against Moshiri so he can regain full control. He will sacrifice Bramley Moore Dock just like Kings Dock because he wants to stay in control.

Said that earlier/last night mate

Think Kenwright only finally sold because he feared he was close to the end and wanted the legacy of being the bloke who set the stadium in motion to seal his 'legacy' of being the gatekeeper for the club etc.

THEN he suddenly got a hell of a lot better and ever since he's been working on ways to try retain and gain back what he sold and be in full control once again.

and if that means getting the stadium that slowed down and mired then he will do so, he has done it once before and he has not a single ounce of regret over crippling this clubs future by doing so
