Everton reopen talks with Sam Allardyce

Really worried by this. To all those convinced that Sam will enable us to survive because no club he's managed has been relegated on his watch: It's by no means nailed on that he'll do the same with us. BFS does not necessarily equal survival.

The only reason no club has been relegated on his watch is he finds a reason to leave just before the rot sets in.

I am gutted. Dodgy as anything. Threw away his dream job for a sniff of a fast buck. How is he even getting a job anywhere? Turned us down already because he didn't want short term so we must be offering him a longer deal. And we have to pay Palace compensation ( why, he said he had retired?) There must be others out there, shows total lack of imagination. If Newcastle United (who really are shoyte) can attract a Champions League winning manager, we should be able to find somebody who is a better manager and better human being (yes, that matters to me as well) than Sam bleedin' Allardyce.
Who though

I can't think of anyone else dave, it's not like it's going to be long term either

i expect a 20 month contract which Moshiri can pay off at the end of the season, if he really does want to spend big.

Can you see Moshiri-Usmanov wanting this circus again in 6 months if we get a decent season out of Allardcye?

Not imo.

At the end of the day, we could offer him a 6 year deal. Sack him pay his compo and still have some change when we get Silva for nothing in the summer.

Don’t worry about the contract.
I'm far more worried about going down than Sam's contract.Believe me it was far worse at Southampton than watching it on tv.We're absolutely shi£ and I'll take anyone who's gonna get us moving in the right direction.
