Alan Myers expecting possibly an announcement tomorrow morning and some expectation it could be possibly tonight, but expects something to move tomorrow at least when Allardyce will be confirmed.

Mike, any half decent manager will turn this round. Unsworth is a joke, totally out of his depth. Allardyce initially refused the short term option, so that means he’s going to be a very well paid for a short period, or he’ll have a longer term contract.

As soon as he’s the manager he’s the figurehead of this club, along with good old Steve, just like Newcastle eh!!

This perception that without him nobody can save is bordering on ludicrous.

But we are not in a position to attract any manager that's currently in a job and doing well. This will be reevaluated in the summer if Sam keeps us up, of course. For now, I currently can't see a better, realistic option. Dyche maybe, but why would he join us right now rather than wait till the summer? Same with Silva.

I support the badge, not any one man, player, chairman, manager, anything. Everton Football Club isn't just a football team to me, it's a huge part of my life, that is not going to change because of a manager.

This is the way I'm trying to look at it. Far from happy that Allardyce looks to be in prime position to take over as Manager. In fact, I'm sickened by the prospect of it and of how far we've slipped back in 4 months.
But, the bigger picture is Everton's future (short and long term). In the short term we need to survive. One step at a time. Stay up. Review in the summer.
I've just got to keep telling myself that until we're mathematically safe (hopefully).
