GET IN!!! Been in poor reception area all day...just in office and can look forward to going the game again.....hurrah

But he's never shown in his career that he's capable of anything other than the survivalist game he sets teams up to play.Yet it seems our genius owner saw something nobody else ever has.
And that's why he was sacked here mate.

When you look back over the season under him, you could pick out 5 games at least where we lost/dropped points because of his tactics. If we finished the season 7th and Europe or even 6th, we wouldn't want him gone because 60 points and Europe was as good a job as we could expect.

He had the chance and had the games and HE blew it.

I think the fact that he was only initially offered 6 mths speaks volumes.

He always knew that getting the boot at the the end of the season was a very real and likely scenario.

However he chose to do what he always does and talk himself up as the saviour of football, which is then swallowed hook line and sinker, by his lap dogs, like Jim White.
And he only got the longer contract because Moshiri made a dogs breakfast of signing Silva or whoever else name he stuck a pin in.

THE £16M SACKING?

Sacking Sam Allardyce and appointing Marco Silva could end up costing Everton an eye-watering £16m.

Everton are yet to resolve their dispute with Watford over the alleged tapping up of Silva last year and Sky Sports News believes that settlement alone could cost Everton as much as £8m.

Added to that, paying up the 12 months left on Allardyce’s contract – plus a bonus for keeping Everton in the Premier League – will cost the club around £6m.

Finally, the contract settlements for Allardyce’s backroom staff including Sammy Lee, Craig Shakespeare and Martyn Margetson is likely to cost a further £2m.
