It's not poor form, they have no other choice. As Shareholders they really are ENTITLED to know what's going on and not be blanked by the club. Bill is not well as we all know but the people running the club in his absence, whom he must surely have given his blessing, aren't doing their jobs properly. Therefore they have no choice but to approach him, as majority shareholder and chairman, to try and force him to get involved. If Bill is in such a bad way that he can't be bothered by this then he should publicly step-down because as harsh as it sounds the entire business can't just stop because one person is sick.
