These lads are still looking for work from the World Cup.

And do you think the fans could improve in any dimension?

Is it right that all other stakeholders come under great scrutiny for their contribution and the fans don't?

Do you think there's an elephant in the room here?
Well firstly, fans (apart from shareholders who's voice is now worth f all) don't own Everton and are paying customers, so no they don't come under scrutiny. You don't go into Tescos with a rotten bag of fruit and get to told you should lower your expectations do you? At least they get their money back.

Footy is an entertainment business now, you don't provide it, you get the criticism.

Before a ball gets kicked in any season you have the chance that your team will finish first, get relegated or most likely somewhere in between. I’ve been lucky enough in my 62 years to see only 2 of them. The sense of entitlement of some is bewildering.
I know but before a ball gets kicked you expect them to appoint adequate people to run the club manage the club and players wanting to give 100% for me who busts his balls all week and struggling to pay for a season ticket along with the cost of living but can’t even get to see decent football I’ve watched better amateur matches this year. No sense of entitlement but would like some entertainment for my money

That's the whole point of the post - they're contributing negatively to the environment and hence the results, but don't come under scrutiny because they're paying

Switch it round so that they're paid and then fans can be held accountable for their contribution too

So to continue to use my analogy, you'd kick shoppers out of Tesco for kicking up a stink about the quality of their product? Are you okay? Because this is B tier WUM stuff, leave it to Moomin and Chicoazul.

You understand if you pay people to come, they're going to be far less inclined to be negative because it's paid for, like when influencers sponsor a product right? You're just bringing in happy clappers to mask the issues.

I don't think the people with the job to do this actually think the Board are inadequate

The fans are calling for the Board to go because there have been so many manager changes (as attempts to fix the problem) that haven't changed things, that people are now looking for others to blame

But without looking in the mirror themselves or taking accountability for their own contributions...

In terms of accountability from other stakeholders, I'd say that Moshiri likely has more to answer for than the board and he should sell the club - but he's not the only problem...
