Hard to believe it's 13 years since we watched him in a blue shirt. In that time I have got from hate to ambivalence to anticipation.

Yup, I moved over here in 2009. My wife is American, from Seattle. I work for the Alaska State Ferry - State Of Alaska DOT (Dept. of Transportation). I worked on cruise ships for 15 years prior to that.

I know I was reading a South African newspaper online, to get their take on the cricket and there is a Rooney returns to Everton as one of their main stories. Just a pity we don't have a good enough kit deal to make the most of this opportunity regarding shirt sales.
