Yep, so if you were an ex player who could easily get on these 'platforms' to speak out and be taken seriously by the likes of that beaut 'Saggers' would you?

I'm not sure mate, I ain't an ex player and I can't stand TS though fair play to Collymore for tonight. I've always felt a lot of our ex players get well looked after by Everton so don't slag the club off as much as maybe we would like them to. Whether we like it or not a lot of ex players are always praising the chairman, christ even Tim Cahill was at it again last week before the big man's testimonial. None of us here are ex players who played for Everton, but we are all fans so of course it's easier to say "yeah if I was an ex player I would be on the radio slagging them off" but reality is very different to that isn't it.

It would appear that the media are starting to realise that there is a malaise at Everton that either they haven't noticed before or they have swallowed the nonsense pumped out the board that everything is fine.

The situation at clubs like Newcastle and Villa have deflected attention away from us to a certain extent.

There seems to have been a general awakening in the press that there are actually real problems behind the scenes at Everton which are being covered up by spin and outright lies.

Hopefully tonight can be the catalyst to some real and serious scrutiny of the board / manager. The media are definitely starting to take notice of the Everton Board.

I wish you were right but unfortunately tonight has only come about because Collymore has been banging this particular drum before in fairness to him. No-one else in the football media has, afaik.

If any of the club's hierarchy happened to be listening no doubt they switched off half way through. After @the esk had spoken of course.

One of the points that came out of it is that the main shareholders are less likely to sell now than before, given the recent cash influx from TV rights.

Suppose, I just detest the man. Total [Poor language removed]. Dont worry though, he doesnt give a [Poor language removed] about the club,

You appear to be fairly new to GOT so you might not realise we like people to post without swearing. Please don't rely on the swear filter kicking in to change swear words on the fly

Thanks

Exactly stating the on obvious!

Aye sorry mate. I think he's always said him being outspoken and having an opinion was why it cost him the chance to manage Wales, and I'm pretty sure him being such a big character and the most far removed "yes" man you could get has cost him any chance to get a job with us.

Shame cos he could teach our keepers still a thing or two, though I think he brought 40 kids to FF a couple of months ago doing a goalkeeping session so he must have been invited in some form or another.

I'm not looking for slanging matches from ex-players mate, but I think it's a bit disappointing that an ex-pro who never kicked a ball for us is kind of 'championing' a debate for us Everton fans to get some answers from the board.

Of course mate totally understand what your saying. Like I said I'm not a big fan of TS tbh but I remember the thing he done a couple of years ago and fair play to him. I'm not too sure what will come of it but it's good to get some airtime nationally to hopefully at least make other Evertonians aware of the crap we find ourselves in. I'll be honest, I can't stand the beaut but that's because he turned us down to sign for the RS and I actually think he probably has a soft spot for us because he should have signed for us. Would have been a top top player under Royle for us. That's another story though mate.
